Well,folks, I'm at the library. I still don't have phone. I was kind of hoping that it would magically fix itself, but no such luck. So, I am here to check stuff, and then I am goign to Eller to call Sprint and (hopefully) get this sorted out. This is unacceptable! It means I missed my chance to go hang out with Anth peeps at their little weekend boozefest too. And I haven't been able to check any of my message, whatever they may have been :p

But, I have checked e-mail, and at least I haven't missed anything important.

I'm sure I had more to say, but I've since forgotten. Hopefully, you will be returned to your regularly scheduled Lannie soon :p

Well, it means I have less distractions for working, at least. Mreh.

I am now waiting for an e-mail saying that theyv are looking into my problem. I should receive it within 1 business day.

To add insult to injury, one of my sandals broke the other day, and since it has been pouring rain all weekend, i can't wear my canvass MJ's. I need new sandals, but of cours,e I can't call anyone to ask about, say, taking me shoe shopping when it might be convenient for them. And all the other shoes I have are giving me blisters, because I haven't worn them in forever. I made the mistake of wearing my Docs yesterday, and even though I only walked *to* school in them, they managed to peel the skin off my heels because I was wearing a poor choice of socks.

I would really like to have something nice to offset the horribleness of my day so far, but it is taking me forever to understand Furet, because my brain is distracted with Hate. I must finish this reading by the end of the weekend. And hell, what else have I got to do? :p At least I have everything I need from the Library, now. I'd also like to get my proposal for the commonwealth grant fixed up. Mreh.

I am going to go to Wendy's and buy all kinds of bad for me food. The only other thing I have had to eat today is cake, and snacks. bleh.

I had a good time at my party last night, and I thik that everyone who came did as well. I got some nice gifts, including a copy of True Brit (the british superman thingy with John Cleese). Michelle gave me a gift certificate to a hippy store ;)

I think that mostly people managed to play nicely. Ther was damned good cake, thanks to maria, and I have a million zillion more snacks and alcohol than I can reasonably expect to ever use, ever. It's all good.

I'm going to go get food. Maybe there will have been a miracle and I will have phone! Otherwise, I may just watch Death to Smoochy, and eat cake and ice cream.

I now have internet, but no phone.

How does that work?

I even tried a different phone o_O

Well, it is clearly not an issue on my end.

Now I watch Death to smoochy, since the internet seems dead anyway.
