Ferrets are the devil, apparently. My allergies started bothering me when I moved in here. the girl who was here before me had two free-roamng ferrets, and a cat. I give her props for being one of the few freet owners I know who actually does *everything* you are suppoesed to in order to keep them from just being smelly and gross, and unfriendly. Apparently it is a lot of hard embittering work.

Anyway, once I got my vaccum here, I vaccumed. twice. Soooo much ferret hair :o I could probably get as much again by vaccuming a third time. I couldn't sleep well last night, and I think my stuffed-upness is developing into a cold. At least, I only got to sleep after I took some cold medication in the middle of the night. Bah!

I have a few errands to run today. I have to go to the bank and change my address with them, and I have to go to the post office and fill out a mail transfer thingy. then I am taking the people who helped me move at the lastb minute out to dinner! Whee!

Obviously, my phone and internet have been hooked up now. Without them on, I go so much accomplished! I have everything in my house put away where it goes. *everything*. Well, everything except pictures and other decorative elements, because I am still deciding about them. I have a pretty good idea though. I put my futon together all by myself though :) And I finally fixed the handles on *both* my dressers. Now one of my drawers is faling apart... No dresser love for me. Well, I can probably fix it too. the irony is that the whole reason I wanted to keep these dressers is becuse I find the cheap pressboard ones alway fall apart like that. u think the real problem is that I need to stuff less crap into them.

I also even broke out my sewing stuff last night to put elastic in the cuffs of those silver shorts. I even took pictures! of course, I can never take good pictures of myself. Eventually they may get online. After I finish the uploads from Bart's wedding, and put up some ship pictures.... rar.

Well, I'd better take a shower and get going...

Somedays it really doens't pay to leave the house :p

Either that or I just had a 5 minute period where the universe decided it as out to get me. talk about a five minute hate :p

-The bank won't accept my ID today, so I have to go home and get my passport. This will most likely result in me panicking later because my passport won't be where I left it with my other travel documents. The lady said I could have talked to the customer service people with just my id, but I would have had to wait in a fairly long, slow-moving bank line. Yeah right :p
-The bank machine at the bank was closed for servicing :p
-I nearly tripped on my pants :p twice :p
-Some asshat tried to run me over at a cross walk on a walk light :p
-I opener the door goign onto the student building on my foot and tore my shoe and scraped my foot. no irreperable damage to the show or foot, at least
-All the places to get drinks on campus are apparently closed :p
-I can't figure out how to change my address for school over the computer either :p

Bah.

Right, I'm off home (I'm at the library now, I was checking one of the aforementioned drink places), to pick up the passport and make dinner arrangements. I'm goign to get an ihnaler on the way, but with my luck, the prescription will be expired. :p

I always mis-remember my flight times. I thought I was leaving Greenville at 6:45. but no, that's when I'm arriving in Charlotte. I'm leaving Greenville at 5:30. And that measn I have to be at the airport at 3:30. Well, I called a cab company to make sure there would be someone there, and I'm good for that. I, uh, just hope the airport will be *open* that early. They don't get many 'international' travelers :p

Everything is just about packed and ready to go. I just need to pack my sandals and some bathroom crap, and my camera bits. And then, I'm going to bed, I think. I slept poorly last night, and I'm sleeeeepy. I did have a good dinner with people though! And despite the fact that there were nine of us, it was not very pricey. Hooray!

I'm just packing those last few things, and then I sleep, yeeeees...

The video for 'I Disappear' is on my Faint CD. It is like watching someone on acid have a TID episode (sorry to people who don't get the Perseity ref. It's just fucked up).

In fact the song *does* make me think of the holetouched, now that I think of it :)
