I am up early. My alarm went off at 6L:30, because I knew I would faff around on the net before getting teadyt to go up to school. I also thought that maybe I would actually sleep more, but I wasn't really tired, and my brain was too active, with rather silly things. At eight, I go see Dr. parkerson about the new class, which I think it at ten to 11, maybe? YThe I think I will go to the library and read/make notes on the book that I have to review for Tuesday. eep! That's okay. I'm already 100 pages in, which is about 1/3 of the way in, or maybe more (2/5ths?). Anyway, I should finish reading it today so I can start writing over the weekend.

I have realized that already having mondays and Fridays off is kind of a waste in some ways. it means that when I get holidays that would give me a long weekend, they are kind of redundant ;) So, no extra time off for Martin Luther King day on Monday. Except for sitting in on the Hist 4000 class, I suppose.

Well, maybe I should go get dressed, hmm? And maybe even find some breakfast. What a novel thought :o

I would really like to know what schedules my fellow MA 1st years are on this term. I'm afraid I'll never see any of them. I don't have classes with any of them.... Except Stephanie, who is in Carl's class. Meh :/

Live with it ;p

I am in the library, I've been reading since about 8:45, so a little over an hour. I can't help, when reading this book (English society, 1580-1680) but to think of Diablotin. It just comes so naturally. It doesn't help to come across names like William Gouge ;p

It is bucketing down. We are supposed to get two inches of rain today. Gah! I have to supervise a library tour in about 10 minutes, which is why I am doing this entry instead of reading more. i havent decided if I will stay here afterwards, or go home and read. Probably it will depend on how scary the rain looks (right now, very).

Also, there was a surprising number of my professors in their offices this morning. Dr. parkerson, Dr, Dudley, and even carl, who I've come to think of as more of an afternoon type. It's Friday! It was eight o'clock! I'm shocked, I tell you. Anyway, that's all I've got for the moment. the new course I'm helping with seems like it should be good. There are fewer students, more work (a presentation), and higher standards. There are fewer lectures, but this is good, because the material presented in the previous course seemed like it could have been easily condensed... and now it will be! I would still do a lot of things differently, but at least they now have a real historiography text to round out their readings. It should be good. I have high expectations. And I should go to the room and meet the students maybe, hmmm?
