I went to Emily's party tonight. it was fun! There was fondue, and snacks, and Trivial Pursuit which didn't get finished. I swear, the people in my program, or at least some of them, have a three hour limit. That's the longest they ever stay at any even. Show up at 7, leave at ten. Show up at eight, leave at eleven. Well, Katy and I stayed until *twelve*! I guess we showed them, huh?
Emily kept pointing out this girl singer every time she came up on the mp3 playlist. I thought it was funny at the time, but ironically, I now can't remember her name, Figures, doens't it? Erin Burnes or something? She is from Washington (State), apparently. I'll have to ask ;)
It is funny. before I met mnary, I know nothing about Washington State. Katy was there for boat school last yhyear though. And so when she talks about the obscure little places, I know where they are, vageuly, or have at least ehard of them. Emily is going out that way for Christmas, to hang out with her friend Gabriel, who grew up in some miniscule place the name of which starts with 'S' in/on 'Disco' Discovery bay, between Port Angeles and Port Townsend. Wacky. Emily went to school in scoland too, did I mention? These are just weird, completely unrelated coincidental things, but they seem.... interesting, or important somehow. Like thet West Coast of Washington could only beome a focal point of activity for people I know *after* I'd met Mary, and it therefore carried any significance for me.
Anyway, that was my synchonicity tangent. All I'd actually intended to write when I started this post was that I'd *almost* burnt my cunts, but they are really just a little dark, but still edible. But then I decided that maybe you would like to hear about my evening. I drank a bottle of cider but I forget what kind. It was okay.
Now I am gong to bed. tomorrow, I have errands to run in the day, including handing in my exam, mailing of varous bits, the buying of other bits, and the praying that my VISA comes. Probably everyone who will be reading this is asleep, so I hope you have exciting fun dreams :)
