Walter is a pretty cool guy, for all that he is old ;) He has a crazy sense of humour, and is not afraid to speak his mind, to anyone, about anything. I really respect his parenting skills, as he did a fine job raising his son, and I know he cares a lot for his other children too, even if they aren't as physically close. Sometimes, I think it woudl have been fun to see what he was like when he was young and wild, other times, I think it might have been a little scary ;)

I also like how much he cares for all his animals, even if he does spoil them juuuust a spidge ;) I really respect how involved he is in the things he believes in, and how much he can accomplish for his causes despite myriad chronic health issues of various flavours.

He is a nice man, and clever, funny, and odd :)

There should be another 'dites-moi'. I dug out my Bescherelle to make sure I was conjugating right and wverything. I hope I am ;)

I think I will go to the library, and look through the journals of the board of trade today. The library closes at 5, and then is closed for two days, so I can grab some boks to look at over that period. I don't know what all else I need to add to my Thesis methodology at this point.
Arr. I'm just planning my day, don't mind me.

I called a certain sad girl to make her less sad this am. i also mailed out a bunch of things. Well... two leters, an application (and money, oh, sooo much money ;_;), and some perfume.

I have decided that I have to leave the house today, just because I am feeling very well dressed.

Tonight, I will make PIE! Yay pie! :D I am wondering if it will be feasible to make only one pie, given the huuuuge size of the dough recipie, and the double size of the custard recipie... on the other hand, Dina is also bringing pie (Raspberry brulé?). Considering that I think there will only be 5 of us, that is probably waaaay enough pie.

But then, I could have a whole pie to myself. But that's a bit extravagant, I think. Mmm... pie... I sure hope it turns out! :o

Jodie is one of my inner circle of close friends. We were always on good terms, but I think that after we moved in together, we were even cloer, and that makes me really happy. She is pretty, smart, creative, silly, thoughful, and, I think, a good communicator. I really respect how well she handles the responsabilities she takes for herself. And she can bake like a mo fo ;D

I miss her lots, and I am really looking forward to seeing her sometime in the next year... one way or another!

I'm glad you seem to be really feeling and doing better lately. I really want you to be happy.

Is anyone gong to be around top play tonight? No plans... I just am supposed top be on vacation here, yo. Although that reminds me, I shoudl call Katie and Dina :o

I only made a half recipie... This was probably for the best, because I only have a small blender, and a whole recipe wouldn't have fit! And evebn then, I had enough filling left over for some tarts. I made six, but I probably could have made at least one more.

I'm a little worried, though. My blender likes to make a burned rubber smell sometimes. I try not to run it when it does that, but I can't always catch it. Anyway, I hope that it hasn't contaminated my pie! :o

In other news... I now have two glasses! I used to have four. I have broken two in the last week, both in difficult/dangerous ways. The first ione broke in a sink full of dishes. The second one broke between me and my exit, and shattered cider and glass all over my tiny kitchen floor when I was in there with bare feet... boo!

I still have lots of mugs, though, and some plastic cups. And they were super cheap anyway. Tomorrow I can have pie! *dance*

There was something else I was going to say... Oh yes! yesterday I put salad dressing in my hair! On purpose! Only I did it wrong.... but it was all good in the end. My hair is super soft, and shiny, and mostly smooth, and curlier too :D yay!
