I had mail! In fact, all three swaps that I have done for BPAL came through today! And one girl sent me an extra imp! I have now got Old Kathmandu, hemlock, Lampades, Val San Retour and Velvet. I have sniffed them all, and all smell promising! Therehave been a few scents (ones I traded, notably ;) that just seemed really gross in the bottle.

Velvet really smells like chocolate cookies. I sniffed it and my immediate reaction was that I wanted to drink it. Now that I'm wearing it, I think that there is also some rose it there... but it is still mostly chocolate cookies :)

In other news, I had to run around to try and find some papers I wanted to look at today. I managed to track them all down, though I probably annoyed some proffs. Ahh well. Neither of them were really *important* to read, anyway, but I wanted to make sure before I proceeded with things.

I also spent some more time going through South Carolina records. I found another brief account of a guy who was taken by pirates. they made a little earthen fort! This is promising ;) It means that pirates did alter their landscape in detectable ways. I had seen a few mentions of them doing this befoe too, but it is always good to have more. Not great for my paper, but good for my thesis, at least! I also turned in my paper to Dr. Dudley. i hope that it was good! I guess that is pretty much all I did :/ I need to get dinner sorted and read more SoP before Diablotin. I hope I don't fall asleep reading ;p
