I stayed up waaaaay too late last night. I am very much getting sucked into the BPAL community thing, though I rather siuspect that it is becase I have so much work to do that I am lookign for new outlets of procrastination. How much sense does *that* make? ;p

I did get the rest of yesterday's chunk of SoP finished, leaving me about 60 pages for today and 60 for tomorrow. I have actually been puttering around on the net since about 10, ewhen I got up, and am now eating my breakfast banana and contemplating getting dressed, etc. The party never stops here!

What I am realy trying to decide is if I want to start my day off with Econimic history crap, to get it out of the way, or try and do something else more productive. I also need to do laundry, and I'm considering finishing my paper for Dr. Dudley today as well, so I can go to school and hand it in tomorrow. For some reason, I'm afraid that my topic wasn't *hard* enough, or that there was something I could/should have done beter than I did. Ahh well...

And I still need to figure out what I am going to say in my babits paper. I think I will do my SoP reading first, and laundry at the same time, and then I will go up to the library and look at some theory/method/analysis crap up there, and hope for inspiration.

If I'd *really* wanted ot get ahead in this game, I should have done a history of piracy in the new world, from thw 15th to the 19th centuries for one of my essays -_- Of course, there is no way that I could have known that ahead of time. :/ Maybe I can work it in somehow next term. I would need to cover Drake and co., the Bucanneers, the Golden Age, and later 18th C folks like Lafitte. Maybe even toss in the barbary corsairs... but they are kind of different... kind of. it is *complicated*. It is surprisingly hard to synthesize a single definition of piracy. It would be like defining sports. Go on... Tell me what sports are. :P

Ahh well.

Umm.. is 'artifactual' a word? Is there somethign else I should be using, and why sin't it in my brain? o_O As in "Examining the artifactual emains reveals a pattern of social organization distinct from that of the plantation colonies." I just pulled that out of my butt. archaeology peep, help me out? I hate it when I think somethign is a word and my spell-checker insists it isn't. I'm wary of trusting Word, but I also know that my brain is capable of great feats of dictional creativity ;p (Is dictional a word? ;p )
