I'm in a good mood, you may guess form my bouncyness, and my foolishly grinning little mouse ^-^
I came home after my classes, and did dishes and made myself lunch! There is just something very *right* about tomato soup (with basil) and a grilled cheese sandwich. Yum! And orange juice! I remembered to get Minute Maid this time, because it tastes less like thickeners and preservatives than Tropicana. I don't know of it *is* or not, but I much prefer it. And not only do I have orange juice, I also have cran-grape juice *and* chocolate milk! Hurray for getting groceries! (I also have regular milk, but not for drinking. Blech.) Last night, I had a bagel, with egg and *bacon* for supper. Mmmmm, bacon. It was the one thing that kept Islam from conquering the globe, I'm sure. European crusades were really all about not giving it up.
I am also going to make tea! (Earl Grey, hot, and black like my soul!). Earl of Sandwich, Earl Grey... It is a day for food named after dead English lords, I guess :D Anything else I should be consuming that I have forgotten? There should have been an Earl of Chocolate ^-^
I also figured out where to get a replacement paddle for my breadmaker and ordered one! Go me! I am really glad for that rent.com card, it has proved very useful for these little purchases while I am credit-cardless. I think I have about 20-25$ left on it now.
Now, I am going to go and read. I haven't decided *what* to read yet, though. I have a few choices. I could keep reading Ritchie and get that out of the way. I could start reading Citizens of the World by Hancock, which I have to have read by next Tuesday (I think), for class discussion. Or I can read the little book that Dr. Ewen lent me on the arcaheology of cultural formation, From Spaniard to Creol, which should help me with my Theory project. Hmmm... They all look interesting, at least, but I've already *started* Ritchie, and he will be easy to get through since I don't need to pay much attention to detail, and I've already read it.
First, finish OJ. Then, boil water for tea, and clean glasses. Then read. Later tonight, make chili, and bake some kind of exciting snack. I am assuming we don't have Exia at this point, but boy would I love to know what the heck is going on with that game long-term!
Okay, I'm off, but I will be watching for the mail guy, and hoping that someday I will receive exciting parcels. I'm expecting a few at this point!
