So far today I have made centers for chocolate truffles, butter creams, maple creams and lemon creams, chocolate centers and dark peppermint centers. I'm getting ready to make findant centers which will then be flavoured various things, such as peppermint, lemon, orange, pineapple and grapefruit. That's probably all I'll get through today, so that I can start the rolling process...

I still need to make cherries, and peppermint taffy, and almond bark. And maybe some kind of nut clusters, I haven't decided.

Also going along with all of this will be cookies, gingerbread and sugar, possibly shortbread, and rasberry tarts. I'll probably have to make more of things like truffles tooo. Yum :D

Well, I know some people have been confused by our euphamism, so I went and found the appropriate passage from Pliny's Natural History of the World or Natural History or whatever you want to call it. Book seven, chapter fifteen, aharr.

I'm not actually killing any bees at the moment, but something on Shan's page made me think to do this.

Pliny! )

And there you have it folks.
