On the chance that nyone has been wondering after me all day, here's what's going on:

My computer is having issues, basically. The power cable has, well, recessed, I guess, so that I can't get my connection to work properly. This means that the battery is constantly being drained, even when the computer is plugged in. Sometimes the power cable works, sometimes it doesn't.

Right now I'm a bit concerned because I'm going to need to prove that my laptop is a real laptop when I take it on the plane and not a bomb. Also, i don't want to lose my computer! So I'm going to leave it turned off and plugged in and see if I can rechrge the battery that wy, and then take the battery out completely and only use it plugged in.

This means I'm probably not going to be online whole lot before I leave, or at least until I get my battery recharged. I'm typing this on Ian's iBook.

I'm also really really really tired. I was up late last night ic-ing DC stuff with Fishy. Boy does that sound jargony :o And then I woke up at 11 :o craziness. I was expecting to sleep in until 1!

I had lots of stuff to do, as well. I had to dry my pants/trousers and the rest of tht load of laundry, and I had to finish cutting out some material, and... I think there was something else but I don't remember :o Then I had errands... I had to close my bank account and, um, something.

I'm really really really tired.


Right. So the to the Societies fair to see people. And then the pub. And then sword practice. And then another pub. But I don't drink. I had lots of lemonade ;p

I have had a really long day. At least it feels like it. And the 'A' key on this thing doesn't always work.

I think I'm going to eat my dinner nd then go to bed. Or at least to my room. I need to pck. ll my clothes are on my bed. Except the ones that are still in the dryer. they need to go in bags.

Addndum: it has taken me so long to post this journal entry that I'm starting to get a second wind. Bleah. Ian's computer time was wrong and was confusing LJ. Thus: pigfucker.

I am, at the moment, connected to Ian's computer via the ethernet connection. I have my power cable taped in so it wo't get jostled, and the battery seems to be charging at the moment, even if it didn't overnight.

And yet, via this connection, it seems the only part of the internet I can connect to is Live journal. I can get on to ICQ, I can't check my mail, I can't get to any other of the sites I've tried. But I can read my friends page, coment on other people's journals, and even post in my own! How bizzare is that? I can even leave LJ, get some sort of error on another page, and some back, and everything is fine.

Now does this mean that my connection is on crack, or has LJ just gotten big enough to take over the internet? :o

Tomorrow I return to my home country. I think I'm staying overnight in Hell, but I'm not entirely sure. It is.... not exciting. Maybe it just doesn't feel real yet, sitting in the front room here watching a movie with M&I.

I saw Ken and Hugh and Jenny and another Ian (Wretch), who I don't know so well, but still...

It doesn't feel like leaving, even though I'm all packed. I do, however, just....

Got distracted by movie and now I can't remember what I was going to say!

I need to do some e-mailing, and call off my internet. I need to figure out how to do both of those things :o

I also need dinner. This will probably be my last update over here, hmm.

I'm feeling random and disjointed, and I think this entry relfects that. Also, this movie, The Magic Christian, is very odd :o

My battery keeps goign up and down. I don't understand. Arrr... I'll take this baby in to get serviced when I get home, I think. She's old, but she's my sweet internet honey.

I was hoping there woudl be more people around tonight :o
