My Vampire campaign ended this evening, when all of my PC's managed to get themselves killed, torpored, or captured in very permanent ways. I didn't plan it, really. It was all consequences of their actions, inactions, or flaws. I guess I'm satisfied that there was a conclusion, even though I feel a bit bad that they all died. (Well, okay, they didn't *all* die. One is in torpor long-term, and one has just been taken in by her ennemies who are using her and trying to convince her she was supposed to be with them the whole time...)
Anyway, though most people don't know what my game was ever all about, I was kinda running it in the C-verse. Or, my version of it. And so here's how things stand, on that note: The church in England is ar war with the Sabbat, who are mostly centered in Europe but were trying to take over England. This means that the church here is mostly busy, and far more attention is focused at the moment on Vampires, so the other supernaturals are having a much easier time of things. So, arr, and stuff. I don't feel like *writing* about the game in detail, because it would take too long, but if people want to ask me anything specific about stuff when I'm around, either IRL or on ICQ, feel free.
In other news, I was up late last night because of Diablotin (which absolutely *rocked*), and then had errands to run today. I was partly foiled in one of my errands, so I wound up taking about twice as long as I expected to finish. I mailed a parcel to Waterloo (expensive! Also the errand that foiled me. I got to the post office around 12:30, but didn't have enough $$ to pay for it, so I had to go to the bank. But the post office was closed from 1 until 2...). I also went to the chemists(pharmacy) to get a bath puff and some pads. And to the library for books. Then I got drawn into gamerspeak with Ian when I was recovering from the walk back up the Hill. And I had to run my game tonight. So the long and the short of it is, I didn't get *any* writing done on my dissertation today. On the other hand, I *did* completely fix my chart. I think that it is now useful and easily navigable. Anyone want to give me a second opinion on that?
I'm going to bed early tonight, I think, to make up for last night, so I'll be up early tomorrow to make up for lack of work. Arr. If I do 1000 words tomorrow.'ll still be on track.
