Tomorrow is njfuzzy's birthday, and he is having a huge houseparty. Anyone who reads this and could theoretically make it all 0 of you not counting Mary, can feel free to poke me for directions ;D

Meanwhile, the house smells of cake, which Mary is baking atm. We got a hold of the Robbins's After Eight cake recipie (thanks 3headedmonkey!). Mmmm.... cake. Mmmm, minty cae, even better...

So, anyway, tomorrow the house will fill with people, some of whom I know, some of whom I'll have never met before. It should be interesting.

I also managed to get next to nothing done on the dissertation again today. I really need to be better with this, but I don't know how to force it. There is always something distracting, some reason I can't cpncentrate, some little fact that I need to cement things that is elusive, or one that jumps out at me that forced a re-write... I think part of the problem is that just don't trust myself. I don't believe that I know any of the things that I do. I'm paranoid about sources and referencing. I feel like an amateur.

Bleh. Maybe I'll see what I can do during EiS. However long we wind up playing, anyway. Our ST is feeling rather down herself. Arr.

Party! Party will be good! And Cake!

I'm actually starting to toy with the idea of having some sort of do before I leave, for people that I know. But, well.. I don't know. Is it lame to organize one's own going away party? Also, I'm afraid that everyone's weekends will be booked, and so I won't get a chance. Bleh. I'm starting to feel a,lot more accepted here, and it seems like in no time at all, I'm going to be leaving everyone behind, and probably never see them again...
