I just ate dinner, mmm... Shall I just say, I went grocery shopping while hungry :o

So for my dinner, I bought: 'salad feta' (Feta in olive oil, with olives, garlic and herbs. I picked the one woth the least olives, though, bleh), a nice dark bread with seeds and stuff (don't remember what kind, but it was rolled in poppy seeds), and a roast chicken. The general process for eating this is as follows: peel the chicken of its skin, and eat that, because it is only good warm. Tear off big chunks of bread, squish feta on to this, pour on some olive oil, and garnish with a bit of chicken. It's the kind of meal you get your hands dirty with, but very yummy :D On top of that, I had a slick of butternut squash in about an inch thick, microvawed with brown sugar and butter, for about ten minutes. The brown sugar was carmelized when I took it out... So yummy. Good enough for desert, so I didn't even need to open the honeycomb ice cream I bough a few days ago...

So, what else is new with me, hmmm... I watched three and a half very fun movies yesterday, while eating another chicken dinner with M&I... Pitch Black, John Carpenter's Vampires and Cool World. The half movie I watched was an old version of The Three Musketeers... Made in the 70's I think. I would have watched the whole thing if I hadn't realized that it was going on for 4 AM! So I trundled home and slet until 1. Whee! I also got a lot done on my other boot.

Today, I did my internet stuff and read some of the books I got from the library yesterday (something else productive accomplished, go me!). Then, groceries, now this, and later tonight, Dissolution, whee! I think there is a band playing (Dream Disciples?) But I'm not familiar with their music, so, here's hoping they don't suck! I've already got picked out what I'm going to wear, too. Black velvet skirt, shiny silver mirror shirt (I'll just have to tie it just right and not be too bouncy, I guess ;) and my long black velvet overcoat. Now is the time to start thinking about make-up and hair, though, hmmm... I've got a stack of red lightening bolt temporary tattoos that i'd like to do something with. Joel sent them to me a whle ago... I think they were from some Harry Potter thing at Chapters, but they are mine now! All mine! Hopefully I can devise some cool purpose for them, hmmmm... Time to go be creative some more :D

I guess it is next month that the Dream Disciples play at Dissolution, according to their webpage, anyway. But the mp3 I downloaded of theirs is pretty cool, so I may have to be dissapointed. Next month's Dissolution is the first day I'll be gone on excavation :/

While getting that mp3, however, I also discovered another mp3 I had downloaded, by a pirate group appropriately called The Jolly Rogers. The song is 'The Derelict', but it is 'Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle Of Rum', with a little story introduction. Quite fun :D
