I got back from my 4 day trip (yes, I was on a trip. I meant to put up an entry before I left, but ran out of time). It was a departmental fieldtrip to a bunch of prehistoric (Stonehenge, Aveburey, west kennet long barrow, and Danebury hillfort), Roman (Wroxeter, Caerwent, and Caerleon) and Medieval (2 castles, a million churches, and Tewkesbury Abbey) sites. It was quite cool, and of course I took a million pictures. More details as I feel inclined to add them.

Also, I am develloping a facial tick of my very own! I'm getting an eye twitch in my right eye, on the right side in the corner bottom. At least is isn't very visible. I think it is related to overtiredness and/or stress...

The saga of Heather's tuition fees, that is... *sigh*

I *finally* got an e-mail back from the university saying that the cheque that had been sent out had in fact gone to the wrong place and had never been received. I asked them about this, oh, about a month ago >:| Cunts. It seems to me that now that I'm dealing with a competent Canadian group (The CIBC people, who all see highly competent and capable and well trained, for call center people. They have *all* impressed me) that the school has dropped the ball. urg.

Anyway, I gave them the new address, and they told me that they have to send this through to the govenment (and yes, warning bells have gone off in my head), and they might have to get me (or ths school) to sign an endemnity form to confirm that the cheque never arrived. I guess I can see their being a bit paranoid about lising almost 6000$. I know *I* am. But it means more jumping through red tape hoops for me. I'm just glad that this course isn't finished until September, because if I don't have my fees paid by then, I don't get to graduate...
