For the general amusement of the masses, I present to you the web page of The Sheffield Red Light District! Enjoy! Warning, there are some pretty praphic/hardcore banners in there. I haven't really looked around it too much... But how could it fail to amuse? :D The map, at least, hasn;t been updated, because my building isn't on it. It's right across form devonshire green, between eldon street and trafalger street... Not in the district proper. My department building is on the corner of mappin and west stree, though, so it just about is... Across from the green patch on Mappin is where the 24 hour computer lab is... right smack in the middle of things, so to speak! :D

Right. I think it was looking up stuff on The Time Machine for longpig yesterday that did it. I had a dream about, well, characters from that movie, I guess. Jeremy Irons and Guy Pearce... I haven't read the story, so my brain was making things up. For some reason, Jeremy Irons's character had Guy Pearce's prisoner (I don't remember their name, I only bread the cast list once), and was making him do weird things to prove his power over him. Including sit on his lap and kiss him. O_O There was some definite homoerotic tension in the dream, because Guy Pearce wasn't sure if JI really wanted him or not, but thought that the Morlock guy was awful hot (Okay, so, maybe that was me... I like JI, I think it is the voice. No Judging! ;p)... But then after they kissed... rather cutely but awkwardly, it turned out JI was just playing with him after all... Aww. There were some other parts of the dream where Guy tried to foiled some evil Morlock plots to steal children and whatnot, too, but I don't remember them as well...

Hmm, seems my connection has just timed out, so I'll have to wait to post this until after my nap...

Other post-nap comments on this... For one thing, I have to say that I don't find Guy Pearce particularly attractive. Also, I should add that although my dream perspective was one of *watching*, from an omniscient perspective, I could sometimes also still feel, in a nervous sense, some of the stuff going on, eg, the kiss, and I had a better understanding of GP's thoughts
and emotions and stuff. Also, disappointingly, I've been told that the movie itself suck hard ass. I bet there is no boy-boy kissing, either, ^-^.
