I want an mp3 of this song, the full version, by Leonard Cohen. If anyone could provide me with it, or knows where I could get it, I'd be much obliged ^-^

IN other news... I should be working on my presentation, but once again, I'm not. I suppose that's okay, since it isn't due until Thursday and I'm probably at least close to half done, but still... I feel naughty. I'm IC-ing again, and on top of it, I'm feeling very tired. I'd hoped to be able to do some stuff with Kolya, one of two characters that I play there much, but he's gotten himself into a bit of a fix and has beencalled before the countess... And so I can't really use him until after that little audience has been done. But I can't do that unless it is just Sas around so no one will be left out, and she feels like playing the Countess. SO I'm playing Seraph, and doing a crap ased job of it, because she really does require more energy. maybe I should have been Irene, hmmm... Ahh well. This is what I get fopr playing hookey from work. Maybe tomorrow I'll get a lot accomplished on my kit, *and* my presentation, and make up for it ^-^

Right. My intentions for today had been to get up around ten, work on my presentation a bit, then go to the kit-maiking session at 1:00, where I would get my doublet sew together, and learn how to do the stitching for my boots so I could finish them at my leisure. Instead, I slept in an hour later, woke up and read my book (I'm a bad girl for that... I'm into chapter 11 now... of 48 or so :p), then read through what I had and timed it, fixed up a few rough spots without adding anything new, and left. And was there an hour early with nothing productive to do. Oh well.

As far as kit stuff goes, I got a lot done. All I need to do on my doublet now is finish off the place where I turned it inside out by hand, finish the sleeves, and put on the buttons. Mental note, still need to pay for the buttons. Silver (well, pewter, I think) on a red coat... it will look quite sharp, I'm sure... until after it's first battle, anyway ;D I also know what I am doing in regards to my boots now, go me! Now, I just need to (find time to) do them. Well, when I watch tv or movies, I guess.

Anyway, along with that stuff accomplished, I also managed to pick myself up a cintage 60's cowgirl outfit. Jacquie had brought in a leather skirt and vest to be donated for boot material. But they happened to fit like they were made for me, and the concensus was that they were too good a fit to cut up. So I kept them. They are both a sort of honey brown leathery suede, very 60's cowgirl. The snap on the skirt needs repairing, but fortunately I was in the right place to get both supplies and advice on how to do so. Hurrah! Now, I have to get around to doing that, and see if I actually will ever wear either...

SO after that, I did some fletching (really, putting the feathers on arrows ;D), then had some absolutely divine chocolate cake! Mmm... Cake... I came home, with intentions of working on my project. Instread, I watched an IC, and read, and did some e-mails, for about two hours. Then I called my mother and grandmother for Mother's day. Then I came back online, and pressured Longpig intodoing that IC. And that's what I'm doing now. But afterwards.... I'll return to semi-awaydom, and really work on it. Really. Honest! Well, I am about a third of the way to halfway done it already alyway, and it is only the dress rehersal and it is on Thursday, so :P
