I talked to student loan people. the NB SL people are fuckheads. they weren't rude, just terminally incompetent. They don't have a clue about how their own system works. They did, however, give me the number for the CIBC student loan centre. So I called them. And now I know what is going on with my money, hurrah! It only got sent out on the 19th, and they may have had the wrong address. So I have to contact the girl who I have been working with here, and see if it is correct (I'll e-mail her later.... I guess I will be back online when i get home afterall :o ), and then call the CIBC people back and let them know what is up. I also have to question them about my bursery... miao. But everything should be in hand now, I hope.

Meanwhile, I've just killed about two and a half hours scannign pictures from my Aberystwyth trip. Longpig wants them all... so I'll scan them all. I'm over half way through, doing them in batched, but it's been enough for a night, I guess. I'll do the rest.... later. And at the same time, I'll scan soe select photos from the scotland trip. No one is quite so desprate to see those, so I can wait and show them off another time. miao! I'm going to head home from the lab now so that I can come back online and do more net stuff. No, it doesn't make sense, but c'est la vie....

I'm being bad. I was supposed to go to Tai Chi. I did go, in fact, but there was no one there :o So I came home. But instead of going and doing schoolwork like a good girl, I did something naughty. I caved in, so to speak, and cracked open the book I bought, well, almost twoo weeks ago now. I'd bought J.V. Jone's new hardcover, A Fortress of Grey Ice, because, well, I wanted it, and I found it, and I have no idea when if might be coming out in north america. So I own it. I was trying not to read it, I really was! But now it may be too late. I only read the first chapter. And a chapter is all I'll read. A day. maybe, if I'm good...

I have no self control when it comes to engrossing stories, I think that's why I like reading, writing, and gaming so much, And also songs, they count too. Anyway, I'm goin to try not to read anymore today, and work on my presentation for the next twenty minuts or so until I have guests to watch Buffy and Angel. And also talk to Longpig, miao...
