Well, as I expected, no madagascar for me. This year. NO room, too complicated, etc. Just what I figured. But I had to ask. One in a million chances do succeed nine out of ten times, after all :D

Ahh well. Now I have to co-ordinate with Ceiridwen to figure out when she is going to be here, and when the different departmental fieldcourses are being run. I need to check the dates for the Whiton one, and I'll tell Dawn on Monday, hopefully.

I sent my comments on the guy's paper, and while I was kind of afraid that my comments were crap, he seems pleased enough with them, and wants to continue talking. I feel all... dialogue-y! :o It's like I have a clue, or something ^-^

Anyway, I'm just home for lunch. I decided to go to an Archaeology conference this weekend, since it was only two pounds and a ten minute walk away. there have been a few interesting presentations, so far, and hopefully a few more this afternoon. I'm not 100% sure I'll go to everything tomorrow, though, because I want to finish making my boots! :o Or I could go to the conference with my awl and beeswax and poke holes in my soles. Hmmm... Could be amusing ;D Anyway, gotta go do dishes and take threeheadedmonkey's t-shirt to be mailed...

I just told my parents about my LJ. Actually, I may have told mom before, I'm not sure. But I told dad too. And about Longpig's, being as she is my sister. I also told them that it is not edited for parental viewing, so entries will remain as strange as ever. Promise!
