I love my PC's. They are so odd. Matt's poor character has been completely abandoned by everyone else. I though that some people were going to come back to Sheffield, but, alas, no. I've distracted them with plot for a bit though. Or at least with sub-plots. It is all fun! And yes, he (Isiah James) really did put vampiric blood in the communion wine! And is plotting to steal the relic from the Anglican cathedral... Oy. Now I just need to figure out what the Churchies think of all of this.... ^-^

Also, I watched Spartacus. Kirk Douglas's chin is scary. His chin 'muscle' bit is perfectly round, and has a perfectly symmetrical inverted triangle shaped cleft that must be about a centimetre deep.

Be afraid. Be *very* afraid. :o

Also, just as a bit of a segue. I love Joel. He sends me love notes and is the *best*!

I can't seem to do any work any more. I have only done readings for one course this term, and that is a graduate seminar. What's worse, I can't even seem to bring myself to do much reading for my dissertation. I hve hoardes of books are have reead maybe twenty pages from two of them. There just always seem to be something more fun to do. Like, the internet, and pirate day!

Yeah, it is pirate day at my sister's school, so I'm dressing up out of jealousy. Faded black sirt, stripey socks, knitted green top that looks old, red with black polka dot headscarf. Wish I had a cutlass... Or an eye patch. Then I'll go to my long class on materials science, and then go photocopy the readings for this week in Literacy, and then maybe read for a bit, and then go to Changeling.

Notice the lack of work on my dissertation. Also I owe Ken Kinkor some coments on a paper he sent me, and I said I'd give them by the end of the week. Maybe I'll do that during EiS, unless Aliss is too active, which she probably will be. So, Friday then. urg. I really need to get craking on my dissertation. I have to hnd in an outline next Thursday about what I'm going to do and when. Only I wish I knew what I was going to do *sigh*.

Anyone have some ambition they can lend me?

Right, so it turns out I didn't have class, but that the other MA guy in my class who showed up accidentally gave me a hot tip on a time-life pirate book for only 3£. So I went and bought that. Now... I'm waiting for one of my proffs to be free so I can ask him if there is anything resembling a minimal chance that he might take me to Madagascar this summer. Otherwise, I'm going to go on one of the departmental field trips, probably to Whiton with Dawn, because the timing on it is better. Miao...

And then, I'm going to go home and read. Maybe even course stuff instead of Tam Lin! :o

I only e-mailed him. he had a bunch of students in his office anywaty, and it could have been awhile.

So then I though, I know, go photocopy readings for tomorrow, then go and read them! So, after having bought the Pirate book, I didn't have change for the copier. So I had to go and find a bank machine. The first two I went to were out of money :p the third had some, so I got out 10£, and had to break it by buying some junkfood I didn't really want. A can of pringles and a cream egg. I'll eat them later, I guess.

So, then I went to the department. I had to find and figure out what I needed to photocopy, figure out much I needed (you have to use exact change). So I did that and now.... the photocopier is broken! Arg! So I'm typing this to kill time until the secretary is finished whatever she was workign on and can (hopefully) come fix it.

Even when I do feel productive, I can't get anything done :p
