From Hell, and silly card games. From Hell was an interesting yet exasperating experience. The first Cinema we tried to get to.... well, was loaning out part of its car park (parking lot) to the arema across the way which was hosting some event or other, possibly a concert. Which mean mucho traffic, and hell finding a space. And when we did get in the queue (line) for tickets was so long, we decided not to bother because we would have been too late. So we went to the theatre at Meadowhall (big mall) instead. And it was Sold Out. Ocean's Eleven, my second choice, was also sold out. The choices after that were Monsters Inc. or Vanilla Sky. Two of the four people I was with had just seen MI on Valentine's Day. So Vanilla Sky it was... A truly odd movie. "I will tell you in another life when we are both cats." Neat little Head Trip film, so I wasn't completely dissapointed. I still need to see from Hell though.

No card games, the party was more hanging around and chatting than silly card games, though there was silly music of the Weird Al and Rocky Horror variety, plus an inflatable chair with velcro restraints and several little cat-o-nine-tails' floating about. And tasty home made biscuits (cookies).

And now, I am tired and off to bed, after I welcome Curtana to the happy fun Live Journal community we've got going. I guess I'm like her grandmother, since I gave Longpig her code, who provided Curtana one. And I was spawned by Balthcat, who bought an account for himself and thus was a sort of immaculate conception that spawned me and El Juno. I'm not sure if that side of the 'family' has budded off yet or not.

And now I am sleepy, but not tired. Or rather, tired but not sleepy. Something like that. NOt completely coherent, requiring rest, but not able to get any. Ramble ramble. 'Nuff of that.

Forgot to spell check. And I am tired enough not to notice anything wring with it either, except that I forgot to capitalize 'from' in From Hell somewhere. But I'll live. Somehow ;)

I didn't want to check my e-mail before I took a nap when I got home around 7:45, because everytime I log on it costs me 10p, or about 25 cents Canadian. Which adds up when you consider that I get automatically disconnected every two hours and spend a lot of time on the internet. So. I napped, and set my alarm for about 9:30, expecting that Longpig's game would be starting around 10:00. But it isn't until 10:30, *sigh*.

I always thinkg when you say 'pointed stick', you need to say it with a vaguely English accent, and exaggerated, so it souds like 'point-ed' stick. For the record.

I suppose I could start reading something, but that woudl be like work. I also shamefully completely disregarded the impetuts to do any reading for my Archaeological Heritage Management class. I figure I spent my summer writing musem manuals, and that should do me. I have some pirate-y stuff I could start on, though, but I don't feel like reading. I'm not sure I feel like writing anything more complicated than free-form journal entries atm either, though I do plan on writing one final chapter for an RPS that I belonged to and has recently died a horrible, slow, painful death. I brought it chicken soup and comfort foods, but the doctors said it was too far gone, and we had to put it down. *sniff*...
