That is really interesting about the pollinator gardens being considered as aesthetics/freedom of expression. I wonder how easy it would be to defend in court, though, if the city decides that your pollinator garden is an eyesore or a public nuisance because it attracts too many bugs or whatever.

Boo to your job for not paying you adequately! I feel you on the dog(s) costing a lot of money. The meds and food really do add up quickly, and a single vet visit these days can be something of a nightmare.
