Happy birthday to me!
I am falling off the posting wagon again hard!
I believe I mentionned that I got a loom when I was in Toronto last week!
Well, now I have waxed the wood, put it together, warped it, and started weaving a... grey cotton dish towel, or something? First project, learning and playing around a bit. Next time I'll use more interesting yarns and try and come up with something more fun :) I'd like to try tapestry weaving at some point too. But I need some more things....
Anyway - that and talking about the new Adventure World game that we'll be starting after the last adventure of Thirteen wraps up, and working on my sockhead hat...
Tomorrow I'm going *back* to Toronto, this time with a small group of friends, to go see the AGO exhibit on Guillermo del Torro's stuff, and go see Curiosa, and maybe some other little shops.
Should be a fun day out, anyway :)
