In the pots!

Work was hectic and a little dumb today, but tonight I got my yarn in the mulberries! I'll take it out tomorrow night. I put some iron modifier in one of the pots, but it didn't seem to do much - I think it has more of an effect on animal fibers? It looks nice and dark purple anyway, so I hope that sticks!

The nature of the beast meant my evening was pretty broken up, so I didn't get much else done tonight. Also I think I'm coming down with the cough that the boys have. Ugh! Summer colds are balls. But I'm coughing and m throat is sore :(

Gonna take a shower and try to head to bed. Hopefully sleep will help.

IN other news I still haven't gotten my hardcover of Harbors of the Sun! I know it was released, and other places have it in stock.... But despite preordering (just a few days pre, but still!) the site is still saying they don't know when it will be released. IT IS ALREADY OUT, GIMME MY BOOOK GD IT.

Meanwhile, I started reading The Goblin Emperor on my commute. I'm leaving on an earlier bus, which gives me 10 minutes more to kill in the am, and I don't have a portable knitting project atm, so.... Book!

And oh, SPEAKING of books, I got the draft copy of Ride the Star Wind, so I got to see the art for my story :D Its pretty great, and is exactly what I figured someone might draw from that story :3 I also got an acknowledgment of my other story submissions today, so maybe that's a good sign?
