The particulates can get to me, but they usually result in woe of the face-leakage variety and less the can't get enough air constant wheezing whatever I do variety.

That said, the only places my lungs tend to be happy when they get like this are in heavily air-conditioned venues. Which fortunately include work, but unfortunately does not include anywhere in my house :/
