This is mostly personal organization stuff with some added rambling, but I suppose that is most of my entries, isn't it?

I have a bunch of stuff I want to do this weekend:
-work on Tag Staff project: write up and hopefully some discussion tomorrow for some of the stuff that still needs sorting
-fix Martinmas, again - I keep doing something - missing yarnovers maybe? In about one section per repeat :p It is such a simple pattern that I have been working in distracting conditions (most of the times I have to know are under distracting conditions) and then I make a mistake and have to wait until the weekend to sort it out :p It is still going pretty fast though!
-write! I finished one character background last night, and I have another one to start working on. I am also working on a story related to another upcoming campaign. It is going to be saaaad :3
-tidy! I need to do some dishes and other putting away of things. It would be good to vacuum as well but we'll see :p

In other news, things that I have been doing lately include...

Mostly gaming, all of the gaming, Gaming forever @_@
With kennesaw and persianpenname moving back in to town, he is also running a local game. It is using pathfinder's kingdom rules - so we all have characters (sometimes multiple characters), but we also have an upkeep phase for stuff. It is different, but I like it. I am playing the drow cavalier mercenary band leader. the idea is that we were hired by the leader of this one country, and then he sold us out. his son doublecrossed him and helped us more or less survive, and then we came back and took over the kingdom. my character is married to the son now - it's good times! That's all the premise - we actually started playing on Thursday and went through one upkeep phase and are in the process of reclaiming the kingdom and defending out borders. My roommate is playing our bard/diplomat, and he got to make the first real roll of the campaign - a diplomacy check on a speech to try and get the conscripts the old king had raised to help us defend our borders against Fir Bolg raiders taking advantage of the current instability. He rolled a 1. It was hilarious! We did manage to salvage the situation though ^-^

Meanwhile, I still have my regular Sunday night game (set in the same world). we've been doing a lot of shorter stories within the story since we started in paragon tied (using 4th ed rules), working towards getting the whole party back together to face a Formorian invasion. Right now we are playing a ban of Tieflings that we sorta rescued from the evil cult that raised them last tier. It's fun - I'm playing a barbarian. I smash things good. My primary character was kidnapped from battle by slaad mercenaries in the last story bit...

naryrising Has also been running stories for me on our Tuesday date nights, which is sort of a prelude to the full campaign she is going to be starting up, bi-weekly on Sunday afternoons, sometime in October. One the game starts I will actually have less regular gaming, but with the wind-up for that campaign going full force, there sure is a lot of it going on right now (see above re another character backstory to work on)! I'm not complaining, but I can't remember the last time I had so many games going one :o

And of course, yuletide is coming up, and I should be applying to more jobs as well, plus tag other tag staff stuff and general wrangling @_@ I've also started watching In the Flesh which is pretty good! Only one episode in so far because Busy! But fun busy :)

ETA: I knew I was forgetting one! There is also wererogue's Numenera game which is run... whenever it can be I suppose. That's an interesting one, as I'm playing via Skype and they're all in Montreal! crazytimes!
