Sounds to me like your brain was on strike due to unsafe work conditions...
no more psychotropic drugs for you, hon...only fruits and vegetables. ;-)

Heck, who am I to talk? I once composed a song and video in my head at the same time (song was very Pink Floyd...nuff said) while I was trying to sleep. Then there was the no-sleep-induced-comic-book-hallucination (3 days, 3 hours of total sleep).
