rare books!

Christmas is coming - time for me to eye some pies in the sky and post some titles of obscure books I would really like to own!

I still need the remaining volumes of the Childe ballads!

I would really really really like: Privateering and Piracy in the Colonial Period: Illustrative Documents b J. Franklin Jameson. I found a copy online for 225 USD -_-

I would also like an early edition of Philip Gosse's A History of Piracy - it is a classic work, if somewhat out of date

Other kinds of books I would like are accounts of sailor's lives and so forth! I really want Nathanial Uring's Voyages and Edward Barlow's Journal, but I'm going to have to wait until I am rich for those, I expect...

Well it is nice to dream!
