goooood morning world!
Last night was pretty fun. we went to the sushi place in town. I did not have sushii. I feel uncultured, but I am just not a huge fan of japanese food. Even teriyaki I am starting to just find too sweet, and everything else has flavours that I just don't appreciate. I do like salmon fish-sushi's but I have to be in the right mood to deal with the texture. Last night want not such a night. I got a vegetarian sweet potato roll, which was okay except for the seaweed that it was wrapped in, which made the whole thing taste fishy *and* was hard to chew. Why does it make me feel like a bad person not to like ethnic food? o_O anyway.
After that we adjourned to house of Bazil for socialization, chatting, and dessert. There was cake with cream cheese frosting, cream puffs and canoli ad some other little petit-fours and such, and trifle, and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
justnukeit brought his patented Tuxedo brownies = [Brownies + strawberry or raspberry jam + fresh fruit +(whipped cream + cream cheese + melted white chocolate)] layered in that order. We played Scene It (Girls vs Boys) and Pop Culture Trivial Pursuit, and I was on the winning team both times, wooh! And I actually even knew some of the answers for the second game, when I played with Rich, who knew a lot more of them ;) I was disadvantaged for being Canadian though. Also, there was liquor involved. I had three fairly sweet cosmos (maybe four, but I think just three), so I was pretty silly by the end of things, and helped speed up the end of the game somewhat when other people were getting tired of it. And yes, there were outbursts of my usual 'cheating' - blurting out answers when it wasn't my turn, and such, though this mostly resulted in pie wedges for people on other teams. Ahh well ^-^
I also woke up to an odd and complex ( dream about gaming )
I think Japanese food much not like me either, as my digestion this morning has been rather questionable. Of course, I ate a lot of strange-to-me things yesterday (at least uncommon), as I really didn't prepare any of my own food and ate a lot of junk.
So I am off to have scammed cookies for breakfast, and have a shower! Later I will work on Pieces and play Exia, wooh! Maybe at some point today I will get around to converting Hadyn to 3.5.
