This is it!

This is my Last Day in Town :o

I am still waivering bretween "Three weeks isn nothing" and "This is going to seem like forever!"

I made myself a free-time project yesterday, though. I copied out the begining of one story into the little journal I am taking with me. Hopefuly I will get more done on it now. I was actually impressed with what I had written, although I did clean it up some as I transcribed. That is going to be a good, hopefully saleable, story when it is done. It has only taken me about, oh, three years to get back to it :p I wanted to keep going with it last night, but suddenly it was 2AM! oops :) I will probably make some notes for other stories I want to work on, just in case I get stuck. I might not have the information to hand that I want as far as details.


...I just got distracted. or, more accurately, 'sucked into the world of Wikipedia' ;p Anyway, I found the one main thing I was looking for. The answer is 'Moldavia'. And if you can tell me what the questions was, well, then Alec Trebec would be proud ;)

Today I have a few crucial errands to run. The first is to get my paperwork properly filled out so that I can get back into the country if I leave :o

Wheeeee! Better get dressed :) And maybe have food.

ETA: Eek! the guy I need to talk to is out on vacation until next monday. Bah! I have called another lady to see if she can help me, but I had to leave a message. And then I completely forgot my phone number, and had to look it up. How embarassing :o I hope she calls back though. Meanwhile, I'm going to do some writing :) If I don't hear back in an hour, I'll call her again.

Yay! I got my I-20 form signed!
Boo! I had to run up to International House in the space of 15 minutes to do it.
Yay! I stopped by City market on the way back to get some toothpaste, and they had really cheap fruit salad stuff, so I had a light lunch of strawberries, watermelon, and pineapple (just a bit) for about 50 cents :o
Boo! While I was out, I missed Dina >_< Now I need to make some other kinf of arrangements for her to get Scallywag. I called her but she wasn't aswering her phone. I'll try her again later if I don't hear back.
Yay! I have now transcribed the lyrics to the Naughty Sailor's Alphabet in my journal :)
Boo! I still don't know how I am going to finish one of the stories I started ages ago. I had an ending, originally, but I don't like it now :p

I guess that's about it. Rar.

More productivity, of a sort

I finished writing a story that I'd begun in Waterloo. Not the one I as copying last night... This is one that was almost done for a very long time, but that I was stuck on. "Happiness Man." I needed to think of a more convincing argument to allow some things to happen. I'm still not completely satisfied with it, but it is done. I don't know that I find it a satisfactory story.... It is not my favourite thing I have ever written. I will have to transcribe it sometime, as it is in my writing journal, and then decide what to do with it, if anything. Hmm. Well, it is done! Now I need to eat something. Something other than candy and ice cream!

I also need to double check that I have all my stuff packed that I am packing now. Rar...
