yay stuff!

I just got back from shopping. I;'d called Kristen to see if she could take me toWal-Mart to get some bookshelves and other stuff, but she was busy all weekend. So we went this afternoon! I got two 3-shelf boocases, another floorlamp (there is never enough light in here at night! and an office chair. and some other random bits, like lightbulbs and file folders.

I also got some daily conditioner, and a bottle of vo5 rasberry conditionner. i am going to try an experiment. The experiment is to stop washing my hair, and to condition it only. I will see about washing just my roots, and only once or twice a week. I've peeked around at a lot of long hair resources in the past week or so, and this is what they tell me. I will also look in to getting some oil for my hair next time I am somewhere that might feasibly have any. hrm.

In other exciting news, I got my new BPAL order :D I now have 5ml of Omen, and a bunch of new imps to try. I didn't realize that you couldn't order imps of the limited editions, so they had to sub in a different one... but that's okay, because they sent me Envy ;) Apparently he it smells kind of minty. They also included some extras, but I don't think I'm very fond of any of them, at first sniff. I will give them the benefit of a test though, except for Fenris Wolf, which I remeber Rob had and was just gross. Some of the other smell pretty gfoul to me right off, especially debauchery and 'fire of love', bleah.

The other imps I ordered are Narlathotep (wich is nice and what I'm trying now), Lady of Shallot, Haunted, and Medea. I will report as I go along :)

And for the record, R'Lyeh does not smell like dead fish, maddening or otherwise ;)

Chair power!

I just put together my new lamp and chair. The chair is maybe a little unstable, but I only paid ~35$ for it. Also, it swivels, and has wheels, and lifts ^-^ That makes it 1000% better than the folding chair I had before, which now gets to live at my table. Also, it has arm rests, which is going to makeusing my mouse a lot more comfortable, once I get used to them being there. Hooray!

Now, I'm going to go rad some more, and put on some food for dinner. I am plannignon going up to the lab to play diablotin tonight soi that I won't have to worry about connectivity problems. I guess I'll take my presentation with me and tell myself I'll work on it there. I'm transferring Lysva as we speak! And the other background stuff.

This *does* mean that I won't have my books for refernce, so if people would be patient with me on that account, I'd appreciate it.

Ugh. I got some of one of the BPAL samples on my hand and is smells like *ass*. Eww. I think it is debauchery. I'm going to try and wash it off again.
